Can’t find a title for today

Today marks a week that we have been here now. I am still waking up around 9:30 – 10am – will have to break that somehow. Paul and I have our computers set up side by side here in the studio. They are even linked to allow us both to connect at the same time to the internet. He is busy now yacking to Jean-Philippe and that is going into my right ear and into my left, the traffic of rush-hour Paris with a glass of wine between thoughts and sounds. Fête nationale

I can’t seem to shake the eastern standard time zone. Still going to bed very late and getting up VERY late for me. Yesterday we played musical chairs with all of the furniture in the studio, moving everything around and around until it stopped and made some kind of sense. The space is pretty small and oddly divided with ten chairs and four tables and two single cots. Transportation has been the theme of the last couple of days. We want bicycles. It has taken us several visits, phonecalls and trials before deciding on what kind of bicycle to acquire, how much to spend and for what purpose. We have just found two in a used/new shop off Vieille-du-Temple. A little more than I thought about, but we will be able to head out of town on a bike adventure now.
