Produit Rien fait peau-neuve. L’ombre de la terre, une collaboration avec Paul Litherland est composée de minces feuilles de papier fait main pigmentées, et appliquées brique par brique sur la façade de Produit Rien pour representer l’ombre de la terre – un phénomène réel ; lorsque le Soleil disparaît sous l’horizon, et à condition que le ciel soit dégagé, il projette l’ombre de la Terre sur l’horizon opposé. Il s’agit d’une oeuvre éphémère, et on verra comment dame Nature va collaborer…L’oeuvre fait partie de l’exposition. The Shadow of the Earth, a collaboration with Paul Litherland is an installation on the facade of Produit Rien. Each brick
was covered by a thin sheet of handmade pigmented paper to represent the shadow of the earth – a natural phenomenon happening when the sky is clear as the sun dips below the horizon, it projects a shadow of the Earth on the sky to the east and opposite horizon. An ephemeral project and I am curious to see what Mother Nature has to contribute…..The work is part of the exhibition, Taking Alexandra-Marconi, curated by Lynn Hughes and Francine Lalonde. It is a look at a zone in the neighbourhood, from the 15th of October to the 2nd of November at Produit Rien.
