Description
A Small Green Leaf is an artist book. The binding, a soft green fabric with a gold-leaf text and image of a leaf was designed and executed by Jacques Fournier. The text, a poem printed in the shape of a leaf was written by the artist in English and in French (French version by Yolande Villemaire and Karen Trask) Inside are six folded folios of small lithographs.

Alors le souffle prend racine et se ramifie vers le haut une petite feuille verte se déplie et murmure

There in leaning sky and swelling earth one foot pulls, jealous of the other
Search an earthy spine
Where back to back and face to face

Then breath roots down and branches up
